Step-by-Step Directions with Screenshots

  1. Download No$GBA from a few of the following links.

(I recommend downloading it here rather than elsewhere since the subsequent links point to bundles that I have assembled with all the essential files. If you’re concerned about getting a virus, wear rubber gloves first.)

Notice: all these links will show you an advertisement before letting you download the document. This is the way I earn money and keep this site running. Please click the”Jump Ad” button in the upper right corner to visit a download.

  2. If you get prompted for a password in any of the aforementioned links.

  3. Download the Pokémon Black and White ROMs by Looking for them on the Internet.

(I’m not providing links here since possessing these ROMs without fulfilling particular conditions are a breach of US copyright laws, and that I neither support nor aid in the commission of prohibited action.)

  4. Extract the NO$GBA.ZIP archive that you just downloaded.
  5. Drag the ROMs that you downloaded into the BATTERY folder.
  6. Return to the most important NO$GBA folder and then open NO$Zoomer.exe. When motivated, find and choose the ROM that you would like to play.
  7. Open the PKMNBW.TXT document and copy the code under the game variant that you want to play.
  8. Press F2 or visit Choices → Cheats to start the Cheats interface. After it appears on your cheat listing, double-click it to empower it.
  9. Reset the cartridge by clicking on File → Reset or hitting the * key in your numpad.
  10. Commence playing. Hit F11 if you want to correct the emulator settings.

Frequently Asked Questions

  1. Why am I unable to run the NO$Zoomer.exe file on my Mac?

Executable (. Exe) files are not compatible with Mac operating systems. This emulator software operates for Windows operating systems only.

If you would like to play Nintendo DS games in your Mac, search for a compatible emulator on Google.

  2. Why is my ROM not working?

Make sure you downloaded the first English version of this ROM, instead of a translated or patched Japanese edition. The English versions are often labeled (U) for USA or (E) for English.

If that did not work, try downloading it from a different source, as the one you’re trying to use might be corrupt.

  3. How can I save this game?

Open the menu by pressing the Q key on your computer (or, if you changed the controllers, whichever key disagrees using the X button on your Nintendo DS).

If this does not work, be sure you unarchived the No$GBA folder to a freely writable directory. For instance, your My Documents folder is a publicly downloadable directory, although your Program Files folder is not (it requires administrator authorization).

In case you user profile is defined as an administrator, then you might even try conducting NO$Zoomer as an administrator. To do this, right-click on the document and click on”Run as secretary .”

  4. What are additional Codebreaker or Action Replay codes I could use to deceive?

I really don’t know any; hunt for them on Google.

  5. What’s wifi not working?

So far as I know, the wifi built into No$GBA isn’t compatible with the wifi used with the ROMs. I have noticed some work-arounds, however, and several other emulators may have wifi compatibility with Pokémon games. If you want wifi, then you will have to look for Google and experimentation with emulators and applications yourself.

  6. Why is your No$GBA crashing, malfunctioning, or not functioning?

I didn’t make it, so that I really don’t know. For more information about No$GBA, see its official site at http://nocash.emubase.de/gba.htm.
